The Office of Women is a place attentive to women’s spirit and spiritual gifts, women’s perspectives, women’s dreams and ideas, women’s needs, and women’s talents… Where relationships are formed and strengthened – relationships with God, one another, and all humankind Where life-long growth and learning is promoted and opportunities offered Where God’s vision of the human community is shared by helping and serving those in need.

What will the Office of Women Do?

• Inform: Gather and share information to help women on their spiritual and personal journeys as individuals, as a Christian community, and as world citizens.
• Communicate: Inform women about resources, opportunities, and gatherings through the website and other communication systems.
• Train: Provide instructional settings where women discover and develop their skills and spiritual gifts for use in mission and ministry.
• Advocate: Name and stand against injustices toward women, children and all peoples who are victims of violence, poverty, and abuse.
• Connect: Link together women from diverse cultures and geographical areas of the church.
• Respond: Answer calls for immediate help and guidance, directed by God’s wisdom, tending to the whole person.
• Assemble: Bring diverse women together for worship, celebration, education, dialogue, and fellowship through conferences, retreats, seminars and workshops.
