Mark your calendars for Trunk or Treat!  Come join us for a night of fun and fellowship, and remember to invite your friends and neighbors!  Come in costume and enjoy food, activities, and of course candy!  Also if you’re willing to volunteer with registration, kids activities, or parking, or if you would like to register a trunk, please contact Pastor Kurt at the church office 359-3765.
 
Women’s Choice Center Annual Fundraising Banquet, Thurs 10/26 
The keynote speaker will be Radio & Television Commentator, Janet Parshall.  Janet is the host of “In the Market with Janet Parshall” , which is broadcast on the Moody Radio network.  To make this year’s event a success, your help is needed.  All you have to do is invite your friends and RSVP with your list of names!  Fill a table of 8 with friends, family, co-workers, or people from church.  The goal of the Women’s Choice Center is to fill 62 tables this year.  It’s that easy and a great way to help!  If interested please contact Melissa Jones at 563-332-0475 or

Focal Point Ministries if offering this conference in Clinton at the River Church.  Featured speakers are Gail Dudley and Leslie Ludy.  Posters are up throughout the narthex and Family Life Center.  If interested, please contact Becky Meurs by Friday 10/27.

W.O.V.E.N.,  Sat 11/11  9 – 10:30am
     The program will feature Minda Power-Douglas, writer, editor and speaker.  Minda will be speaking on her passion for cemeteries and the important history gathered from them. Plan now to join us!
     Free babysitting is offered (or cancelled) by phoning/texting Becky Meurs.  We will meet in the Family Life Center, Door #6, lower level by the gym.  Bring a friend and enjoy this program, planned just for YOU.  Remember –  guests are always welcome.

Fellowship Specifically for Men

**Men’s Bible Study and Breakfast meets the third Saturday of the month in the youth room located at the lower level of the Family Life Center. The study runs from 8:00 am. to 9:15 am. No preparation and all men  High School age and older are welcome. Join with brothers in Christ as we study the word together and see to serve the world.
 
** Men’s Basketball – Friday Night Lights
All men, 6th grade and older, are invited to play in the pickup basketball league on Friday nights, 7:00 – 9:00pm.  Invite your neighbors and friends too.  Any questions, please call David Schafer.
 
 
Fellowship Specifically for Women

**WOVEN Meets monthly on the second Saturday of the month, September through May.  W.O.V.E.N provides opportunities for Christian women to educate, nurture and encourage each other through informal socialization and activities.  The goal is to develop and strengthen personal relationships and sense of community among women as well as to increase our understanding of God’s Word.
 
**7:14 GAP   is a women’s prayer group, meeting September through May on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month at 9a.m. for a time of Worship-based, Scripture-fed, Spirit-led prayer.
 
**Prayer Shawl Ministry. The goal of the Prayer Shawl Ministry Team is to share our gifts of handiwork made with love and prayers to bring comfort, hope, joy, and peace to those in need or celebration on behalf of Christ’s Family Church. Prayer Shawl meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month at 10a.m.
